Whether as a world ranked ATP tennis professional on the international circuit or later as an American business entrepreneur, Roman Inochovsky (“EE-NO-KOV-SKEE”) has consistently exhibited a competitive spirit, drive, focus and passion for whatever he undertakes.
Before founding SkyWealth Alternatives, Mr. Inochovsky was one of two wealth advisors with BB&T in Central Florida. BB&T sought after Mr. Inochovsky to bring his family office experience to the BB&T wealth model which is very similar to a multi family office, however restricted to the core wealth management elements and banking services. Mr. Inochovsky was successful in leading his practice with a comprehensive analysis to ‘get to know’ his clients first before implementing any strategies Mr. Inochovsky utilized his personal network to attract 6 HNW and UHNW families with an average net worth of $60 million in his first 12 months.
Mr. Inochovsky is the CEO of SkyWealth Alternatives (SWA), a wealth planning and management firm with services focused on affluent individuals and families. The driving force behind the formation of SWA was to create a firm that integrates the wealthy family's investment, tax, asset protection, wealth transfer, philanthropic goals and lifestyle management into a multi- dimensional comprehensive strategy that emphasizes convenience, privacy and information access any time...anywhere. SWA provides a la carte services primarily to High Net Worth Individuals and Families(HNW)and High Income Earners such as entrepreneurs, physicians, business owners, entertainers, athletes who are extremely busy working in their profession and are in need for a trusted 'quarterback' in their life to oversee and manage their private life and extra-curricular activities. Furthermore, Mr. Inochovsky provides alternative strategies that principally focus on capital preservation and guaranteed returns and most importantly are not market driven.
Prior to SWA, Mr. Inochovsky joined Lexington Family Office Services, a wealth management company beginning of 2008. He is primarily focused on the growth and profitability of Lexington Family office, domestically and internationally. While performing all the duties necessary as a wealth management strategist for families and individuals, Mr. Inochovsky is also drawing from his extensive business background to support as a partner, assist and act as a sounding board to the managing member and founder with operational and financial matters of the company.
In October of 2003, after 19 years in the U.S., Mr. Inochovsky purchased American Lifestyle, LLC, an Orlando, Florida-based construction management company – with the intention of transforming it into a nationally recognized construction and development firm within the ensuing five years. Roman has managed to achieve his initial goal by increasing the turnover of the firm from $6 million to $20 million within the first year and half.
Previously, Mr. Inochovsky was President & CEO of G.E.P., Inc, a wealth management (preservation) company, overseeing a $250 Million, multi-faceted portfolio with diverse facilities nationwide. Under Mr. Inochovsky’s leadership the company implemented an offshore tax structure, minimizing tax exposure which led to the selection of an investment vehicle that is standing its ground with positive returns during economic downturns. He also restructured and retooled the product line at one development, turning around its operation from a negative to a positive cash flow in less than a year. Mr. Inochovsky masterminded a $100 MM hotel and timeshare development (with Marriott and RCI) using minimal funds and without dilution of existing controlling ownership. In addition, he successfully developed a regional airport project - (The first privately owned and operated airport in the US).
Before moving to America, Mr. Inochovsky was an executive with Situsi Spol, s.r.o., in Prague, negotiating office, commercial space and leases to US and foreign companies starting their business in the Czech Republic. Finally, he established a subsidiary in the US and moved here.
Mr. Inochovsky was educated in Germany and the USA. He received his Ph.D.in International Business & Law from UCLA obtained an MBA from Embry-Riddle University. He speaks English, German and Czech fluently and French conversationally. He is an avid flyer, holds a pilot and flight instructor license for single and multi-engine planes, instrument and commercial application. He is on the board of directors of several local companies and is actively involved with the Consular Corps of Orlando, Tampa and Miami. He enjoys mentoring students from UCF and Rollins College on subjects such as foreign languages, entrepreneurship, M&A, business management and the importance of globalization. Roman has lived in Orlando since the early '90's.
After a thorough two-year process of recommendations from U.S. public officials, vetting, interviews and background checks from both the United States and the Czech Republic governments, Roman Inochovsky was appointed as the Honorary Consul to the Czech Republic in 2009. Staying in close communication with the Ambassador and the Embassy, Roman helps Czech people traveling and conducting business in the U.S. He has had the pleasure of several meetings and interactions with former President of the Czech Republic, Vaclav Klaus including an exciting tennis match as well as the current President of the Czech Republic, Milos Zeman.
